Booking Conditions
You can make a reservation by telephone, post or e-mail. This reservation will be confirmed in writing or by e-mail upon receipt of 10% payment. Payments can be made via Paypal or bank transfer. Full payment must be received by us no later than eight weeks (56 days) before the start of the holiday. If the balance is not received in full by the due date, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled by you and apply cancellation charges as set out below. If you are making a booking within 56 days of the travel date, full payment will be necessary immediately. Pelion Sail and Cycle reserves the right to cancel any booking for which full payment has not been received 8 weeks before departure, and to levy cancellation charges.
The cancellation charges are as follows:
Over 90 days before departure - full refund
Between 56 and 90 days before departure: - deposit only
Between 55 and 28 days before departure: - 50% of holiday price
Between 27 and 14 days before departure: - 75% of holiday price
Less than 14 days before departure: - 100% of holiday price
All travellers must be covered by comprehensive travel insurance to cover for the activities undertaken during the holiday. Please read your policy details carefully, as it is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance cover you hold is adequate for your particular needs. Make sure you have adequate health cover on your travel insurance, or travel with your EHIC (European Health Insurance Card) in case of accident or illness. Please be aware that an EHIC does not cover for all medical costs and treatments. Please ensure that you are fit and well enough to undertake a watersports holiday. If in doubt, consult your doctor. Do not travel against medical advice.
If you need to alter your booking after it has been confirmed by us, we will do our best to accommodate your written request. All changes are subject both to availability and to any resulting extra costs imposed by our suppliers.
Accommodation costs are based on two people sharing a studio apartment, or four sharing in a two bedroom apartment. A single person occupancy supplement is payable for single occupancy of rooms, according to the charges imposed by the accommodation.
Child rates are based on children sharing the accommodation with two adults. For single parents travelling with children the cost will be calculated according to the charges imposed by the accommodation.
We reserve the right to decline to accept, or to retain as a client, anyone whose conduct is disruptive or detrimental to the enjoyment of other clients, or whose conduct may prejudice our reputation with our suppliers or hotel owners. We shall be under no liability for any costs incurred by such a client as a result of our so doing.
We will not vary the price of your holiday once full payment has been received, but if variations greater than 10% occur to charges in transportation costs or the exchange rates applied to the particular package, we reserve the right to apply these costs as a surcharge to any amounts still due.
We reserve the right to make changes to the content and timing of the holiday programme, or any other aspect of the holiday, when unavoidable. Our liability in the unlikely event of a cancellation will be limited to a refund of the full holiday fee.
