TEMPI VALLEY ROCK SLIDE UPDATE!!!
The Tempi Valley road is now finally open again. A new fast route through the valley is underway, which will cut down journey times from Thessaloniki even furher.
PELION BUS SERVICE
Only four buses per day travel all the way down the Peninsula to Trikeri. Many more buses travel as far as Milina, where you can catch a cab to Valtoudi Bay and Pelion Sail and Cycle (5 mins). Many buses travel as far as Argalasti before branching off to the east coast. Argalasti is 20 minutes by cab.

NATIONAL RAIL AND BUS GENERAL INFO
Rail (via Larissa) and bus services run from Thessaloniki and Athens to Volos. Buses run from Volos to Argalasti, Milina and Trikeri (the end of the peninsula).

These are local Pelion bus timetables. The left hand column are departure times from Volos bus station to the villages listed. The right hand column are the departure times from the villages listed to Volos bus station. The routes are not listed in detail, so please check locally, or phone the KTEL bus station. Some bus routes are circular, eg the bus goes from Platania to Katigiorgis but not visa versa.
