NATIONAL RAIL AND BUS GENERAL INFO
Rail (via Larissa) and bus services run from Thessaloniki and Athens to Volos. Buses run from Volos to Argalasti, Milina and Trikeri (the end of the peninsula).
Only four buses per day travel all the way down the Peninsula to Trikeri. Many more buses travel as far as Milina, where you can catch a cab to Valtoudi Bay and Pelion Sail and Cycle. Many buses travel as far as Argalasti before branching off to the east coast. Argalasti is 20 minutes by cab.

Some bus routes are circular, eg the bus goes from Platania to Katigiorgis but not visa versa.
